7 Steps to Creating a Successful Online Business

We all want to create a passive online business that allows us to travel the world, sip drinks on the beach and enjoy life to its fullest. But does that reality exist? Is it possible to create a successful online business that practically runs itself? I would say it is, but it requires a few important steps, seven to be exact.

These are the seven steps that have helped me create the life that I want. This has by no means been easy. I’ve worked very hard, but it hasn’t been a chore, because I’ve always followed my heart.

I’m currently addicted to learning Spanish, and I can do that almost all day, every day, because I’ve built up a few passive income streams. I know my motivation will come back, and I will jump back into working, that is the flow of life, but right now I’m enjoying taking a short break.

With all that said, here are 7 effective steps for creating a successful online business:
  1. Focus
You don’t have to find the best system out there for making a living online. In fact, if you do that, you will probably end up confused and paralyzed. There is too much information out there. There are too many great courses out there. I fell into this trap myself, and it kept me from making progress for two whole years. Pick one program, course or mentor you resonate with and stick with it.
  2. Acceptance
You will be afraid. There will always be fear on a path that you aren’t familiar with. That is why I really like the idea of creating your online business on the side, while working a regular job.

This is completely up to you though. I used to be a professional poker player and I quit that cold-turkey to pursue an online business when I saw that I had a chance of making it happen.
  3. Taking Action
You can have all the knowledge you need in your head, but what good will it do if you do not take action? I’ve learned this from experience. I now focus on taking action much more than gathering information.

Yes, I try to find information, but I don’t try to be perfect. There’s a fine line between knowing what you need to know, and trying to know everything to prevent making any mistakes.
  4. Finding a Mentor
Finding a mentor has always been a very effective strategy for me. A mentor will help guide you, and avoid obvious mistakes.

The way you find a mentor is simply to look for someone who resonates with you, or someone that is already doing what you want to do, then ask them!
  5. Not Re-Inventing the Wheel
I see a lot of people wanting to create an online business “their way”, but what they don’t realize is that they would become successful much faster by following the steps of someone who is already successful.

This doesn’t mean you abandon your creative abilities. It simply means that you take the easy way out and follow instructions until you’ve got some income coming in. After you’ve experienced some success, you can start experimenting on your own.
  6. Patience
If you want to succeed online, you need patience. It’s weird, because when you think about creating an online business, you instantly get the feeling that it should happen fast, at least that is what I thought.

The reality is that it will probably take you at least 6-12 months to get anything going, so be patient, and find something you enjoy doing. Find something that will make you happy, even if you don’t make much money from it.
  7. Passion
Is it worth it to have millions in the bank while you’re doing unfulfilling work? I’d rather have enough in the bank and do stuff I love.

I think more and more people are realizing that you don’t have to have a lot of money to be happy.

You only have to find an intersection between what makes you happy and what other people want. It may take a while, but then again; life is a journey. It’s an ongoing process, so you might as well enjoy yourself.

Self Discipline: The Importance of Discipline

self discipline
Are you motivated enough to do a workout? How long will you last to keep going?
As we all know, doing a workout requires discipline and motivation, especially if you are a rookie. You may seem to be interested and try to do an intense workout just to achieve a six-pack or to lose weight. After weeks of applying your workout routines,  you give yourself a time to break, maybe a day or days.
Well, that depends whether you want to achieve the body you ever wanted as fast as possible, or you just want to give it a try. The problem with some people is that when they don’t see the expected results in a minimum amount of time, they quit and go back to their normal routines.
Sometimes, after seeing some improvements on their body, they give their body a time to relax for a long time such that they don’t follow the workout strategies.
Alternatively, they train their body really hard, but they don’t watch out what they are eating. It’s like losing some weight and gaining it back again.
Procrastination is a killer in any workout. The longer you do this, the longer you will forget your workout plans and gain back the fats lost which results the body to overweight which you may not realize because you have enjoyed too much.
Stop procrastination and do the right thing. Remember time is very precious and don’t wait because obviously nothing will happen. Follow your workout plans. Find some partners you can train with because they will keep you motivated, and you motivate them too to train harder.
You and your partners will also have a time to discuss the best workouts with lesser chance of risks. With companionship, this will keep you motivated and always on the go to train. After it becomes a habit, it will become permanent, and soon you will enjoy what you are doing.

Seven Ways to Identify a Liar

http://www.crosscanadarunforthechildren.com/images/Liar%20Liar.jpg

Well, then here are a few signs that may help sniff out whether he/she is lying or not.

Here are seven ways to identify a liar, reports FoxNews.

1.
Consider the person's recall: Liars never forget what they have to say but they may stumble when telling a tale by making contradicting statements. They're also eager to change the subject.

2.
Observe the person's overall body language: Liars can look ill at ease, fiddling with their hair, stroking their throat, or rubbing their eyes. With their body often turned away from you, you may notice hand or leg fidgeting. Liars also have trouble swallowing and may shake their heads after a point has been made. When the subject finally gets changed, they appear happier and more comfortable, maybe laughing nervously.

3.
Take notice of any defensiveness: Liars will often take offence to any indication that they're under suspicion. They're likely to throw any accusations you throw at them back at you. They will also talk too much, feeling the need to over-explain themselves.

4.
Home in on facial expressions: Liars fail to control their micro-expressions. While fibbing, you may notice nervous twitching. Their hand may be covering or touching their face. People also tend to touch the mouth when feeling guilty or anxious. They're particularly good with fake smiles.

5.
Don't overlook the Pinocchio reaction: When a human tells a lie, extra blood gets pumped through the body and the nose swells by a fraction of millimeter. Liars may subsequently touch the tip of their nose unconsciously.

6.
Concentrate on the eyes: A liar has a troubled brow and downcast or darting eyes. They have trouble directly engaging your gaze. They also give you eye-accessing clues. If the person is telling you the truth, he'll look up and to the left since that's the side of the brain we use for recalling information. If she's lying, she'll look up and to the right, which is the creative side of the brain, because she's mentally constructing something that hasn't happened.

7.
Note the person's voice: The higher the stakes are, the more the liar has a fear of getting caught. With this, the liar has a harder time controlling his body language or her voice. The pitch or rate of the speech may change, with the individual giving a lot of "umms" and "ahhs." Often, a liar will appear stilted and monotone. Answers may seem rehearsed. (ANI)

Mobile phones and the affect on our health

http://www.cell-key.com/images/mobile-top-1.jpgThe mobile phone has been in use for approximately 20 years. It has completely changed the way we now communicate between one another. From the businessperson who uses the mobile phone as a vital link with the office, to the teenager who has the phone for recreational use. Over recent years, there has been an ongoing debate about mobile phones and what risks they pose upon us. Many people believe that they are damaging our health every time we use them by transmitting microwave radiation which can damage our cells. Others believe that they don’t. There doesn’t appear to be very much hard, clear evidence to support the idea, In this case study I am going to critically analyze information and give my own opinions on the subject matter to see which I think is the strongest point of view. More than 40 million people in Britain are thought to use mobile phones, this means if the evidences shows that mobile phone usage is dangerous to our health it’s quite worrying.

I decided to focus on the point saying it does affect our health first just because I believe there is more evidence to support this point.

Just recently over the past few years scientists have started to investigate into this matter to see if mobile phones are a threat and to see if there radiation can cause damage to cells in our body. Looking at a few sources of information many people believe that mobile phones do cause damage, potentially cancer in some cases. From my own knowledge I know that you won’t get a tumor or cancer just from using a mobile, but talking about the larger, long term affects of using a mobile regularly.

(1) Neil Whitfield, a 49-year-old father of six, developed an acoustic neuroma in 2001 after years of heavy mobile phone use, on the left side of the head, to which he had held his handset. He says he had no family history of the disease and that when he asked a specialist what had caused it, the doctor had asked him if he used a mobile.

This is a example of the extreme case of what can happen. This is what happens to people that use their phones a lot. Stock brokers and people who use mobiles a lot in their profession will have more of an increased chance of getting cancer I believe from evidence I have read but there’s still no solid evidence to support my theory. This is because from reading of the BBC and other websites after many tests it says that people who use their mobile phones most of the day, will have a increased chance of getting a tumor on the side of their head were they hold there mobile. Not only this but leading a few scientists say that having a mobile in your pocket can damage your reproductive organs and cause testicular cancer.

After looking across the web I noticed that its not only the mobile phone that people are worried about, it’s the base stations that transmit the calls and texts that they are starting to be cautious about.

Some people that live near these base stations say that it is making them ill from been in close contact with them and disrupts there sleeping patterns, although there is no evidence for this as I saw it on the television. A base station emits microwave radiation that does have a small affect on our health. Its at the lower end of the Microwave radiation spectrum behind televisions and radios but above the house hold microwave.

(4)(2) Of particular relevance is the way in which this radiation affects brain function – specifically, its electrical activity (EEG), its electro-chemistry, and the blood/ brain barrier - and degrades the immune system. For these established influences are of a kind that are consistent with the nature of adverse health reactions reported both by some users of mobile phones and by some people (involuntarily) subject to long-term exposure to the radiation from Base-stations.

One argument that has arisen with base stations was about building them near schools. Parents and pupils have protested against them been built near their school as they believe there is a health risk to them and would damage there health if they were in close proximity to them for a number of hours a day. Some have been built near schools but many are now been built near railway lines and places were people aren’t surrounding them.

Although there is some evidence to support the theory that the microwave radiation from mobile phones and base stations affects our health, there is also some evidence to show that it really doesn’t affect our health. I am going to be analyzing this side of the argument to see which one I agree with and which I think is the strongest side of the argument.

Over recent years the mobile phone has arisen to an everyday gadget. Many people believe its a health hazard after recent test but others believe its not. The people that don’t believe that it affects our health believe its just an excuse to blame on cancer.

(3) Mobile phones do not pose a health risk, according to one of the biggest studies into their dangers. But this is only in the short term; long-term damage cannot be ruled out. Six years of research by 28 teams, at a cost of £8.8 million, have failed to substantiate any of the health claims made about mobile phones or the masts that broadcast their signals. Professor Challis said that the results so far were “reassuring” – there was no evidence of immediate or short-term damage and no association between use and cancer. He said that experiments on tissue had produced no effects, and the committee responsible for the programme believes that there is no need for further work in this area.

One company called Bio-guard has found a way to tackle this argument in a way by bringing out a product called the biophone. Its simply just a pendant that you clip onto your phone. The biophone has proven to reduce the effects of headaches, ear discomfort, hot ear, nausea, dizziness and lack of concentration as a result of using a mobile or cordless phone.

(5)The Biophone works specifically to neutralise the effects of microwave radiation. Although our bodies are designed to protect themselves from harmful external influences. The Bio Phone has been developed, after much research, to enhance this vital function and effectively helps the body “neutralise” the harmful radiation from mobile and cordless phones. It is essentially made up of inorganic and organic crystals mixed with copper and other elements, which once refined are charged by a specific light source. Its effectiveness will decay within 2-5 years.

Although it seems a good idea and the test shows that it can prevent the harmful radiation for entering your body it’s not the answer to the problem. It is only a possible short term answer and isn’t cheap to run. Many scientists and people still choose to believe that there’s no harm in mobile phone radiation and that this product is just there to steal peoples money.

ConclusionAfter analyzing all the information I have read, looked up and learnt I have believe that mobile phones do affect our health is the stronger side of the argument. By releasing harmful microwave radiation mobile phones are causing very rare cases of cancer. One reason that the evidence isn’t to hard is because mobiles haven’t been around for along time so and the damage is only long term.

I think in the near future when mobiles have been around for a while the affects to them will start to show.

I also think that the biophone is a fantastic idea for the time been and until we know the affects of mobiles phone and base station radiation and how we can protect our self’s in the long term, it is a great solution.

Electromagnetic waves (radiation)Another term for light. Light waves are fluctuations of electric and magnetic fields in space.

SELF HELP - THE POWER OF THINKING POSITIVE

Virtually every self-help book on the market have one thing in common - expressing the importance of being positive to increase your happiness and well-being.
There have been many studies done on the power of positive thought and the conclusions show a mass amount of health benefits, without having to take medication! Positive thinking has been proven to reduce stress, help people live longer, and improve your overall well-being and ability to cope.
So if it is that simple, then why aren't we living in a society of total bliss and happiness? The answer is that no one, you nor I, wants to admit that they are negative. And if you can't admit that you are negative then how can you ever change your lifestyle to being positive?
In Online Dating Magazine's article about online dating profile tips, the #1 tip is to avoid negativity in your profile. Whether it is "I'm lonely" or "my last boyfriend was a jerk" these types of statements turn people off, making it easy to bypass your profile for one where a person seems more in tune with life, and himself/herself.
But avoiding negativity shouldn't just be an issue for your profile. It should be an issue for your life. And with that in mind, here are seven steps to help you turn negativity into positive thinking:
Step 1: Admit You Are Negative

The first step to changing your life is to admit that you are negative or that you have negative thoughts. Whether talking about a coworker behind his/her back or believing you "can't" do something; these contribute to a non-healthy lifestyle.

Step 2: Be Determined to be Positive

Once you've admitted you are negative, or at least have some negative tendencies, you can resolve to changing the way you think. Become conscious of your daily thoughts and when a negative thought enters your mind, quickly turn it around. Instead of "I don't think I can do that," think "I love a new challenge and will conquer this one" or "I can do this no matter how hard it is." Instead of "I'll do this later," think "By getting this done now I can have it accomplished." Eliminate words like "can't" from your vocabulary and replace them with "can". Start to say positive things about other people. Start to think positive things about other people. "Wow, that was really nice what he/she did." When presented the opportunity to comment on someone else, refrain from saying anything bad.

Step 3: Remove Yourself From Negative Influences

Your environment begins to reflect who you are after time. Thus if you have friends or coworkers you hang out with who are always griping about their job, boss, or life then begin to slowly weed out that group of people and seek out those who are positive and don't talk about others behind their back. When you replace a negative environment with a positive one, you make huge strides in improving your lifestyle.

Step 4: Replace Cola with Water

The healthiest beverage you can drink is water. And by replacing chemical and sugar-filled drinks with water, you will make massive improvements to your health. First of all, you are eliminating the sugar and caffeine that are so addicting, yet bad for overall health. Second, you are increasing your water intake. Chemical-free natural water will help improve your energy, eliminate toxins from your body, make your skin more healthy looking, and improve your mental performance. How can you not help but become more positive with such changes to your life?! Drink lots of water - it is the true "miracle vitamin".

Step 5: Stop Watching the News

Murder. Rape. Fraud. War. Daily news is often filled with nothing but negative stories and when you make reading such material a part of your daily lifestyle, you begin to be directly affected by that environmental factor. If you still need a dose of news, then tune into a station or site that features "Good News". Check out this Happy News Web site and this Good News Blog.

Step 6: Learn to Meditate

Meditating allows you to clear your mind, lower stress, become more focused, and stay positive. It's a very positive and powerful medium. By taking just 15 minutes a day to meditate, you'll find yourself handling time and stress much better. You'll also gain a more positive outlook on life.

Step 7: Spread Your Positiveness to Others

Put your new positive thinking lifestyle into action. Take time out to write down the top 10 things you love about your partner and give that list to him/her. When you experience good customer service, take time to write a note or e-mail expressing your gratitude. Practice spreading your positiveness to others and it will grow.

When you allow yourself to become immersed in positive thinking, you will start to see it affect other aspects of your life. For example, instead of feeling "inconvenienced" by merging traffic, you'll allow someone to easily merge in front of you and feel great about it. They might even wave or mouth "thank you". At a grocery store when you have a cart full of groceries and the person behind you has only one or two items you may find yourself saying, "please go ahead of me since you only have a few items" and that person's gratitude will make your day. You'll find yourself actively thinking about others and your contribution to their positive experiences will have a huge affect on your eternal happiness.

SELF CONFIDENCE FORMULA STARTS WITH I

1] I know that I have the ability to achieve the object of my definite purpose in life; therefore I demand of myself persistent, continuous action toward its attainment, and here and now promise to render such action.

2] I realize the dominating thoughts of my mind will eventually reproduce themselves in outward physical action and gradually transform themselves into physical reality;therefore,I will concentrate my thoughts for thirty minutes daily, upon the task of thinking of the person I intend to become, thereby creating in my mind a mental picture.

3] I know through the principles of autosuggestion, any desire that I persistently hold in my mind  will eventually seek expression .

4] If I write down my definite aim then I will never quit and written thing will act like  a stimulus to me which will help in attaining self confidence.

5] I believe that no one can achieve their goal of becoming wealthy and famous like Bill gates...without their strong foundation of truth and justice.I will try to induce a positive environment of growth around me and try to be beneficial to people who serve me .

This is my formula of success and I call it as SELF CONFIDENCE FORMULA .A lot of books inspired me  based on this subject.I hope one day it will become everyone's FORMULA.
